I’m a 27-year-old guy, schooled and raised in the city of Mumbai, India.
I’ve moved about quite a bit, and have lived at several places, always managing to add a new shade to my personality with every environment that I have been a part of. Until the end of 2006, I was a Recruiter by profession and had been associated with the staffing solutions industry for a long time. And then I decided forego the tried, tested (and boring) path in favor of something funkier by taking up a job with Webchutney, one of India’s leading online marketing companies.
After ditching recruiting for good, I’ve done many different kinds of work. That includes “Social Media Analysis” (whatever that means), being a Part Time Developer cum Odd-Jobs Man, Evangelizing Web Standards, Open Source, etc and maybe a few other things that I have by now forgotten. Eventually, I settled in to the role of a Tech Program Manager, content in lording over a bunch of Software Developers who build all sorts of cool Web Applications.

A true Libran, I would best describe myself as logical & analytical, comfortable dealing with all things rational. I have a quest for knowledge and like to know everything about almost anything. I read a lot and pick up tidbits of information from virtually anywhere and try to push the limits of how much one man can store in his head.
I’m basically a complicated guy with radical ideas, who likes to entertain the fraudulent notion that he’s actually the thoughtful and simple sort. As a libertarian zealot, freedom is something I obsess over almost to the point of fanaticism. I hate all kinds of clichés, and can be best described as an atheist, an individualist, a free market fundamentalist and of course, I’m manifestly a geek of a very high order.
Now that the good stuff has been said, as a disclaimer, let me also add that some of my actions make me come across as mildly antisocial at times. But don’t let that bother you - it usually passes. Deep down inside, I just want to be loved.
